Working from home

Due to high demand teachers and academic mentors are finding it difficult to process all individual work requests.. please see the email sent to students earlier today from Mr Slater and Mrs Francis.

Hi all

Many of you have been emailing asking for extra work from your teachers ...which is fantastic! Currently on Go4Schools work is being set entitled Extra Work and more will be uploaded as the week goes on. If you are at home and well enough to complete work you should work through the work your teachers are setting. This will keep you up to date and make sure when you return to school you feel up to speed with your learning. Homework tasks will also continue to be set which you can do to. If you cannot access Go4Schools please email

Yr7 and 8 - Mrs Guttridge

Coronavirus update

We are taking advice direct from the NHS website in relation to the Coronavirus:

Do I need to advoid public areas?

Most people can continue to go to work, school and other public places.

You only need to stay away from public areas if you've been:

- to Iran, areas in northern Italy in lockdown or "special care zone" areas in South Korea since 19 February.
- to other parts of mainland China or South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia or Macau in the last 14 days and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath.
- to other parts of northern Italy (anywhere north of Pisa, Florence and Rimini), Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos or Myanmar since 19 February and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath.
- in close contact with someone with confirmed coronavirus.
