Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance
Our careers programme is carefully structured to ensure that all students are well prepared for their next steps in education, employment or training. It is impartial and designed to support informed decision-making.
All students have access to a one-to-one careers guidance meeting with a member of our Careers Team. These personalised meetings enable students to explore their interests, strengths and aspirations, and to receive impartial advice regarding Post-18 opportunities, including university, apprenticeships and employment.
In addition:
- Tutors provide regular pastoral and academic guidance, including ongoing conversations about aspirations and next steps.
- Support 4 Success sessions, delivered once a fortnight, include focused input on Post-18 progression routes.
- Tutor time incorporates structured activities and up-to-date information about the full range of Post-18 options available, ensuring students understand pathways.
This planned and comprehensive programme aims to ensure that students are well informed, ambitious and equipped to make confident, well-considered decisions about their future.
